After admiring all the timber houses in Linz.
I had the chance to visit the Müngsten Bridge.
It is supposed to be the tallest railway bridge in Germany with a height of 107m.
The bridge was built between 1894 and 1897 by Anton von Rieppel.
The steel structure is hold together with a total of 950,000 rivets.
Urban tale tells that the last rivet fastened in the bridge was made of pure gold.
But until today, the golden rivet has yet to be found.
interesting :D
